Environmental Policy

It is the policy of Meigle Colour Printers Limited, to respect the environment and is committed to continual improvement of it's performance, with a clear objective to minimise any impact on the environment by:

  • Raising employee environmental awareness and encourage action in the workplace
  • Minimize wastage through the adoption of waste reduction and recycling
  • Taking action to eliminate or reduce, as far as practicable, any potential adverse environmental impacts
  • Improving the efficient use of energy
  • Our policy to use papers that are made from wood grown in sustainable forests. The logging and manufacturing processes are expected to conform to the environmental regulations of the country of origin
  • Exclusively employing printing inks which have a vegetable oil base
  • Ensuring all waste chemicals and solutions are disposed of by contractual arrangements with a specialist Waste Management Contractor with Carriage of Waste Licence Scotland SEA/071330
  • Considering environmental factors when making operating decisions
  • Being committed to FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certification as part of an ongoing environmentally responsible policy (FSC® CO51121)
